The film ›Futur Drei‹ originally planned for Montakskino at the beginning of June, will now be shown at WerkStadt on 1 July. In his autobiographical directorial debut, Faraz Shariat tells the story of an immigrant son's queer adolescence in Germany and provides a resolute alternative to conventional German cinema, in which stories of immigrant families are all too often missing.The story: Parvis grows up as a child of the millennial generation in the affluence of an Iranian immigrant family. After shoplifting, he does community service at a refugee centre and meets Iranian siblings Banafshe and Amon. A fragile three-way relationship develops between them, which is increasingly characterised by the awareness that their future in Germany is unequal.
