Choreographer Mette Ingvartsen has been closely associated with PACT for many years and toured worldwide with her acclaimed work cycle ›The Red Pieces‹, exploring the political dimensions of the body, sexuality and gender. The first two works in the cycle ›69 Positions‹ and ›21 pornographies‹ premiered here in 2014 and 2017 respectively.

In ›Moving in Concert‹ she now imagines a universe where humans, technologies and natural materials coexist to create an abstract form of movement. Inspired by how bodies are affected by living in a digitalized world, the performance explores the poetics of plasticity, abstraction and imagination. Together with nine performers, Mette Ingvartsen examines how we can understand technology as something that is still active in our bodies, even when all technical devices have been turned off. Playing masterfully with sensory perceptions and illusions, ›Moving in Concert‹ invites the audience to immerse themselves in a mesmerising landscape of abstract movement, organic-technical bodies, light sculptures and colour sensations.
