PACT’s ever-popular ›Open Day‹ is a fun packed opportunity for the whole family to come along and explore the former pithead baths in its lively present-day incarnation. Alongside guided tours, things to see and do include an exciting stage show in which our technicians and masters of illusion take us behind the scenes and reveal the secrets of stage lighting, soundscapes and special effects like dry ice, wind machines and many more.

Hakan Eren, the sensational balloon artist, will be busy all day bringing comic figures to life in the shape of balloons and knotting fantastic balloon costumes. Children can have their faces painted by a real make-up artist and slip into a super hero costume for a free souvenir photo in front of a choice of exciting stage backdrops. Countless other activities are just waiting to be discovered behind every door!

There will be a dancing parcour from our WerkStadt (Viktoriastr. 5) if you want to start from there!

Important note: Parking in front of PACT is limited. Please use car park A2 at Zeche Zollverein, from there it is a 5-minute walk to PACT.
