In the second and third part of their renowned duet-trilogy, ›The Quiet Dance‹ from 2005 and ›Speaking Dance‹ from 2006, Jonathan Burrows and Matteo Fargion continue their gentle exploration into how the relationship between music and dance is perceived, and the fragile but permeable boundaries between the two worlds: their work is an intelligent and humorous meditation on rhythm, movement and the nature of communication. In their many years of collaboration the two artists have developed a minimalist vocabulary which is inspiring in its precision and ease.
