»Transformella was initiated by artist J. P. Raether, who in recent years has established a complicated network of these ‘SelfSisters’ as a multifaceted group of avatars that lend multiple voices to his »biobody«.« –comments Texte zur Kunst

Following years of research on human reproductive industries, Transformella (malor ikeae) experiences the moment of her own artificial birth as the end of her lifeworld and further still as the entropic decay of all living things into an (impossible) cycle.

The reprovolutionary mother bifurcates her lifeline, which already showed up in Essen 2019 swarming through the local ikeality, and manifests herself as a new life form, as born of ashes, as necro-communal death servant, death doula, inverted midwife: as Transformella cinis.

In search of the constellations, lines and places of the coming impossible corporeality, Transformella (malor ikeae) invites you to embark on a collective psychoreal research trip to the ash oracle in the pit fire and on a trip to the world of open-cast lignite mines and dismantled highways.

Supported by the NATIONALE PERFORMANCE NETZ - STEPPING OUT, funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as part of the initiative NEUSTART KULTUR. Hilfsprogramm Tanz.
