›An illusion of darkness‹
Sometimes the cards are not always placed straight on the table and the colours they show are not necessarily the true ones. In their latest production for six dancers, fieldworks turn their attention with accustomed charm to the way our focus shifts when appearances change unexpectedly. Beyond the surface of actuality, ›unannounced‹ sheds light on the smallest of the small characteristics it passes by, highlighting them as fragments and partial elements which disappear as soon as the next appears. Wandering back and forth on the thin line between the ‘no longer’ and the ‘not yet’, its journey through space equally becomes a journey through time, unfolding a discontinuous, non-linear range of sensations, possibly confusing the anticipation of its future with echoes and afterglows from its past.
