The dancer and choreographer, Martin Nachbar, trained at the School for New Dance Development (Amsterdam), in New York and P.A.R.T.S. (Brussels). Joint founder of Kollektiv B.D.C./Plischke, he has worked as a dancer with, amongst others, Les Ballets C de la B., Vera Mantero, Thomas Lehmen and the composer Benjamin Schweitzer. This year whilst also working on "mnemonic nonstop", he organised the "meeting on dance education 2005" with Ulrike Melzwig and the factory Potsdam. His own works include the solos "Ausflug" and "Verdeckte Ermittlung", as well as the duet "ja, ja - der dritte mann". Martin Nachbar writes regularly for various European dance and theatre journals and magazines.
