Philosophical writings frequently form the starting point for Laurent Chétouane’s stage works. In his latest production, the award winning director and choreographer approaches Jean-Luc Nancy’s definition of ›openness‹ as the infinity and plurality of meaning. But how can choreography be so open that form in its finiteness remains infinite? Accompanied by a live musical score for violin, viola, piano and cello, four dancers develop constellations in which they identify the multiplicity of simultaneous possibilities in space.
Eluding the security of permanency, they expose themselves to an unknown ›with‹ that manifests itself in the intermediary space between their respective bodies.
