›THEMSELVES ALREADY HOP!‹ portrays four people in a room that might be their living room. Amidst a collection of used furniture and potted plants, they play cards, laugh, massage one another, go on excursions through the space, and also attempt to organize a picnic on the side. They push the furnishings around with autistic solemnity, constructing small houses. These efforts, carried out in repetitive waves, do not necessarily give rise to efficient results. Perhaps ceasing these motions would prove impossible for them.

›THEMSELVES ALREADY HOP!‹ shows bodies that carry out various different tasks at the same time – they are putting multitasking to practice. Here, the performers are moving in a continuous state of presence and absence that calls for permanent alertness.
